Large Sports Retail Store – St Helens

PROJECT OVERVIEW

IDES Electrical Services were appointed by Jones & Andrews Ltd to deliver the complete electrical installation for a large sports retail store at Ravenhead Retail Park, St Helens. The project formed part of a major new store opening, requiring a comprehensive electrical package to support the creation of a modern retail environment and provide the infrastructure necessary for day-to-day retail operations.

THE CHALLENGE

The project required the delivery of a full electrical installation within a demanding retail fit-out programme, involving the coordination of multiple contractors and trades working simultaneously to achieve a fixed store opening date.

Located within a prominent retail park development, the project included the installation of power, lighting, data infrastructure, fire alarm systems and Building Management System connections throughout the facility. Careful planning and flexible working arrangements, including extended evening working, were required to maintain programme milestones and ensure all systems were delivered on schedule.

OUR SOLUTION

Working alongside Jones & Andrews Ltd, IDES delivered a complete turnkey electrical package from installation through to final testing and commissioning. The works included electrical distribution, power systems, lighting, emergency lighting, data infrastructure, fire alarm systems and Building Management System wiring throughout the store.

New galvanised containment systems were installed across the project, together with new distribution boards and supporting electrical infrastructure designed to meet the operational demands of a modern retail store. Lighting installations were completed in accordance with the client’s specification across all customer-facing areas, stockrooms and staff facilities, helping to create an engaging shopping environment while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.

PROJECT OUTCOME
