PROJECT OVERVIEW

IDES Electrical Services were appointed by Rise Projects to deliver the complete electrical installation package for Rassams Creamery’s flagship dessert parlour at White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds. Working alongside Rise Projects, IDES provided a comprehensive electrical solution for the brand’s first Leeds location and, at the time of opening, its largest venue to date.

The project combined robust electrical infrastructure with bespoke feature lighting to create a vibrant, immersive customer experience that reflects the bold identity of the Rassams Creamery brand.

THE CHALLENGE

Located within White Rose Shopping Centre, the project required the delivery of a complete electrical installation within a busy retail environment, demanding close coordination with multiple trades to maintain programme milestones and achieve the planned opening date.

Unlike a traditional restaurant fit-out, the success of the electrical installation relied heavily on the integration of decorative lighting throughout the customer areas. A bespoke programmable LED ceiling feature, illuminated displays and brand-specific lighting elements required careful planning and installation to achieve the desired visual impact while maintaining a practical, reliable and fully compliant electrical installation.

OUR SOLUTION

Working alongside Rise Projects, IDES delivered a complete electrical package, including power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, data infrastructure and equipment supplies throughout the premises.

A standout feature of the project was the installation of an extensive programmable LED strip ceiling, incorporating dedicated LED control systems to create a striking focal point within the venue. Additional feature lighting and illuminated display areas were installed throughout the customer space, helping transform the restaurant into an immersive destination while reinforcing the Rassams Creamery brand identity.

Throughout the project, IDES worked closely with the Principal Contractor and wider fit-out team to coordinate the electrical installation and successfully deliver the project within programme.
