PROJECT OVERVIEW
IDES Electrical Services were appointed to deliver the complete electrical installation for the full refurbishment of Archie’s Trafford Palazzo. Working alongside SIM Fit-Out, our team provided a comprehensive electrical package to support the transformation of the venue, replacing existing electrical services and helping bring the refreshed Archie’s brand experience to life.
THE CHALLENGE
The project involved a complete strip-out and replacement of the existing electrical installation within a live hospitality environment undergoing significant refurbishment. With a fixed reopening date, all works needed to be delivered within a demanding nine-week programme to ensure the venue could return to operation and begin trading as scheduled.
In addition to the core electrical infrastructure, the project required the installation of bespoke lighting features to align with Archie’s distinctive interior design and brand identity.
OUR SOLUTION
IDES delivered a turnkey electrical installation from initial site assessment through to final testing and commissioning. The works included new electrical distribution, power, LED lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and equipment connections throughout the venue.
A key feature of the project was the installation of bespoke LED strip lighting, carefully selected and installed to match Archie’s signature brand colours and create the vibrant customer environment for which the brand is known. Working closely with SIM Fit-Out and the wider project team, all electrical works were delivered in line with the refurbishment programme and design requirements.

PROJECT OUTCOME
The project was successfully completed within the twelve-week programme, allowing Archie’s Trafford Palazzo to reopen on schedule following the refurbishment works. The completed installation provides a modern, compliant and energy-efficient electrical infrastructure, while the bespoke lighting scheme enhances the venue’s distinctive visual identity and customer experience.
