PROJECT OVERVIEW
IDES Electrical Services were appointed to deliver the complete electrical installation for the new Black Sheep Coffee store at Fishergate Shopping Centre, Preston. Working alongside SIM Fit-Out, our team provided a full electrical package to support the successful delivery of the new store opening within a demanding retail fit-out programme.
THE CHALLENGE
The project required the delivery of a complete electrical installation within a six-week programme, with multiple trades working concurrently to meet the store opening deadline. Close coordination was required throughout the project to ensure all electrical services were installed, tested and commissioned in line with the wider fit-out programme.
OUR SOLUTION
IDES delivered a turnkey electrical installation, managing the project from initial site assessment through to final testing and commissioning. The works included electrical distribution, power, LED lighting, decorative feature lighting, emergency lighting and dedicated supplies for customer self-service touchscreen ordering systems. Working closely with SIM Fit-Out and other trades on site, the installation was completed efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

PROJECT OUTCOME
The project was successfully completed within the six-week programme, providing Black Sheep Coffee with a modern, compliant and energy-efficient electrical installation ready for occupation and trade. The completed fit-out delivers a welcoming customer environment while supporting the operational requirements of a busy coffee shop, including modern self-service ordering technology and feature lighting designed to enhance the customer experience.
