Executive Assistant

IDES are a nationwide electrical contractor that work throughout the commercial and industrial sectors, specialising in the dental industry, automotive repair centres and retail store fit outs. We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our growing team, who will join and support the leadership team in the day-to-day coordination of work, commitments and liaison with key accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Liaising and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders (staff, customers, partners, suppliers, etc).
  • Act as a primary contact for key customer accounts.
  • Producing documents, spreadsheets, and letters on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Effective and efficient filing of documentation, to ensure ease of accessibility.
  • Assisting in all areas of day-to-day duties, through ad-hoc administrative duties to support the wider administration team.
  • Managing projects through to completion, as assigned by the leadership team.
  • Act as the first point of communication between different stakeholders and the leadership team.

Experience/Requirements

  • Experience working in the construction industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position (EA, PA, Office Manager, Business Administrator) is mandatory.
  • A full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Achieved Grade C or above in both English and Maths, at GCSE level.
  • Achieved 1-2 A-Levels or the equivalent (Foundation Degree, BTEC, NVQ).

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000+ (negotiable with experience).

Schedule: Standard office hours are Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm).
